Now I discover it seems to be due to a strange windows 7 prof'l behaviour of my partable, that in some cases doesn't take settings and bahaves just like a totem it doesn't takes windows update settings and others, but others yes , so it seems to compress drive G:, but it doesn't, otherwise on my home netbook it really compresses.

I have a strange problem on my windows 7 notebook I created a separate partition 4 backups and compressed the drive activating the volume compression: compress drive to save space check activated but I see no compression at all on the drive 'cause file size and disk occupation is the same of first. I tryed to copy a text file from C: drive to my G: drive and I cannot see any compression at all too, but I compress the same file with 4 example 7-zip, the text file is compressed and on G: drive occupies half size.
