GX Tag Force 3 utilizes characters from the third and fourth series of the show, with players charged with assembling the ultimate card deck by defeating their peers in thrilling duels.
With some exceptions, the majority of the games follow the card battle gameplay of the real-life Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. Champion duelists from all around the world have accepted invitations to this tournament.
