If you have all the items it still takes about an hour per character. Blizzard should consider making it possible for people to download their old closed Battle. This would definitely make a lot of people happy.
If there is no email registered, maybe a hurdle to jump over to get that resolved. Time consuming, yes… But at least there is a way to do it. You can download item packs that have all items in D2, ladder only items as well. Also can use mods like Plugy to make ladder only rune words, and to do ubers and such in single player. If looking for a way to speed it up. Don't buother wasting breath with the "This Is cheating" crowd. I think I may have understated what I meant.
I try people's guides, or whenever I get an idea. Honestly, I don't care how you consider single player whatsoever, it's not going to stop me from making chars. Maybe I would never want them as a real char, or I don't have the funds, etc etc. Don't try and tell me your 'resoning' is too hard to understand, your lack of 'knowlage' speaks for itself. Its just a waste of time for not only yourself but people who help you with rushing etc.. Look, if someone is downloading characters and then trying to trade the items on thoes characters in the SPF, then that is wrong, but if I'm thinking of making a barb with all stats in strenght and I want to try it out, in single player before spending hours, and hours online building him just to see that he can't survive, I don't see anything wrong with that.
You must log in or register to reply here. Thanks character editor. After you make and save the changes you try to log into the game and get: 'Unable to load; bad character statistics'. Nor can you start the game with a maxed-out character. So save your character file before making any changes so you can restore! I've never used PlugY before, and I'm having trouble installing it.
